Everything You Need to Know about OEKO-TEX®

OEKO-TEX is an international textile association of independent testing institutes, aiming to guarantee product safety and sustainability in the textile industry. They have been providing testing and certification since its foundation in 1992. In many cases, its standard is more comprehensive and strict than domestic and international standards, and updates yearly to the latest criteria. Now, as a leading independent certification, OEKO-TEX is valued as a symbol of safe textile products.

Textile products can only be certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX when they have passed the tests by one of the OEKO-TEX institutes in accordance with the general and technical conditions of the standard document. This certification is only valid for 12 months, and an annual test will be conducted by the International OEKO-TEX® Association each year.

You must know the standard is applicable for textile products as well as accessory materials from all levels of productions. Each component of our products, including the microfiber yarn, sewing thread, fabric and label, must be tested.

Fully passed the OEKO-TEX Certificate in Textiles Standard 100, KINGMAX is your trustive microfiber cloth manufacturer that supplies the safest microfiber towels and mops.

Why choose OEKO-TEX® products?

As the textile industry has been competing for product aesthetics and functionality, the application of chemicals has also massively increased, reaching around 8000 different synthetic substances. These chemical additives improve product features in one hand, while leave negative impacts on human health and ecosystem in the other.

Nowadays clever and environmentally conscious consumers prefer safe products which are neither harmless to their health, nor the environment. OEKO-TEX® is therefore sought out by them as an authoritative proof of high level of product safety.

OEKO-TEX® keeps a close eye on the updates and news on relative legislation, science and organizations, and then act quickly in accordance with them. Compared to others, it is less likely to have harmful substances in a certified OEKO-TEX® product.
